Who are the most influential people in world history?

I've got some tasks for you today:

1st) Who are the most influential people in world history?:

Choose one category between Science, Culture, Religion, Politics and then choose a famous character from the past. Look for information and write a very short biography, stating names, profession, years lived, important facts of their lives etc. Finally, explain why you chose this character and why you think he/she is historically important. (Taken form Burlington Books)

2nd) You can go on to the Titanic activity in the next entry.

Titanic: A special exhibit for 1ºESO

Read the text, then Enter ‘the Exhibit’ and answer these questions:

What happened to the Titanic?
When did it happen?
Where?
How many people died?
Where were they from?
Where were they going?
What was the captain’s name?
When did they discover the wreck of the ship?
Have you seen any film about it?
(Activity taken from Burlington books)
