Those Internet Translators...

Or any other for that matter...
Yes, they can be helpful to get the main idea
if we need to understand a text in a foreign language.
But...don't trust them...yet!
They're far from being perfect as you can see in a couple of examples
of an English to Spanish translation:
(just pick a text to check for yourselves)

Text 1:
on  Google Translate:
on El Mundo:

Text 2:

on El Mundo:

So, please, when you feel tempted to copy and paste...Think twice!

What should I read next?

Do you often read?
If not, what are you waiting for?
Here's your homework for next Monday, 1º BAC:
Recommend a book you've read.
Say what you thought as you were reading it,
why you liked it and try to convince others to read it...
but, please, don't spoil the ending for us!

I can't even begin to tell you about books and writers I love,
but since February, 15th was International Childhood Cancer Day,
this particular novel came to mind :
Have you read it?
If not, hurry up before the movie is released!
It's sad, moving, cruel, heart-breaking,
there's love, romance, wit, humor, a bit of travelling,
even tragedy in it
and, above all, you'll meet 2 special teenagers,
whose "adventures" will grip you so much
that you won't be able to stop reading.

By the way, here's a useful website for bookworms:
"What should I read next?"
